Fun For the Family!
Looking for something to do with the family this weekend? Check out some of these awesome activities that big and little kids alike can enjoy.
Green Bluff Growers:
The Green Bluff Growers association was founded in 1902, in order to protect farmers from outside competition. The Bluff is located near Mt. Spokane, about 15 miles north of Spokane. There is a total of 63 growers on the bluff, and what you can find ranges from Christmas trees to apples to pumpkin doughnuts. Visit shops full of handmade products and goodies!
In the fall, visit Beck’s Harvest House for your family’s pumpkin patch pickings! Beck’s Harvest House also features other food vendors for you to try! For 2020, many farms have separated our their different areas to ensure visitors safety.
Spokane Falls Gondola (Numerica SkyRide):
One of Spokane’s most iconic features is the purple gondolas which take you on a scenic ride over the roaring Spokane Falls. The gondolas are fun for the whole family and are incredibly affordable. We recommend out of town guests take a joy ride and fully appreciate the power and beauty of the waterfall. This is the perfect activity for getting your kids out of the house and getting to appreciate nature without having to drive far whatsoever!

Mt. Spokane Tubing Hill:
Mt. Spokane Tubing Hill is closed for the winter 20/21 skiing season. The decision came due to COVID-19 procedures and the need to limit the number of patrons in the ski lodge. Mt. Spokane is still offering youth ski lessons and recommends that tubers visit Bear Creek Lodge.
Bear Creek Lodge:
Bear Creek Lodge is home to the largest tubing hill in the Inland Northwest. It is also the closest tubing hill to Spokane, and features a rope tow that will pull guests back to the launch point. The facility is located just outside of Mt. Spokane State Park, and as a private facility does not require any state or national park parking passes. There is also a lodge with a friendly atmosphere. Numerica Skate Ribbon:
A recent addition to Riverfront Park, the skate ribbon is the perfect activities for families during the wintertime. This skate ribbon varies from a traditional ice-skating rink, with many curves and slight inclines and declines as you make your way around the ribbon. COVID-19 protocols have been taken into consideration, and the ribbon will still be able to hold up to 50 people during phase 2 of reopening. Enjoy a beautiful skate surrounded by Northwest Inspired landscape and downtown Spokane.
